This release of Lunar Magic fixes a few small things such as the victory pose timing and ExAnimation on the overworld when you try to do faster animations. It also adds a couple extra options. Check the "What's New" section of the help file for more details.

FuSoYa, Defender of Relm  Lunar Magic Version 2.52 Released! September 30, 2017

This release of Lunar Magic fixes an issue from 2.50 where SA-1/SFX ROMs upgraded from a previous version of LM could use the wrong "Act as" settings during gameplay.

This release of Lunar Magic just fixes a crash bug that appeared in version 2.50 with the 8x8 tile selector of the Map16 editor.




FuSoYa, Defender of Relm  Lunar Magic Version 2.50 Released! September 24, 2017

This release of Lunar Magic has double the space for FG and BG Map16 (meant for large scale collaborations), 16x the number of secondary exits, the ability to resize objects from top/left and related corners for most objects that support it, and a few other additions and fixes. See the "What's New" section of the help file for more info.

Do note that if you use a third party block tool type program, you shouldn't use the new FG tiles (0x4000-0x7FFF) in LM until your program has been updated to deal with the new max.

This release of Lunar Compress fixes a crash bug that could occur when decompressing from a RAM file. Most formats would not have triggered it, but LC_LZ12 (Gradius 3) definitely could.

This release of Lunar Magic just has a few minor tweaks, though it also adds the ability to copy the color of any pixel under the mouse to the clipboard in the palette editors. Check the "What's New" section of the help file for more info.

FuSoYa, Defender of Relm  Lunar Magic Version 2.41 Released! December 25, 2015

This is a minor release of Lunar Magic that has a few tweaks and additions. There is one notable fix however, as sprites were not triggering custom block ASM when touched from the side in layer 2 levels on layer 2 (and it seems it's been that way forever). Check the "What's New" section of the help file for details.

This release of Zcompress adds a 64 bit build of the program, along with a few other minor tweaks. Check the update list in the readme file for more details.




FuSoYa, Defender of Relm  Lunar Magic Version 2.40 Released! September 24, 2015

This release of Lunar Magic adds support for ExAnimation on the overworld, more overworld exit path indexes, .palmask files to specify which colors in the palette should be imported into your level, more zoom levels, 8x8 tile fill in the overworld editor, improved Z-order related commands in the level editor, and other small changes and features. Check the "What's New" section of the help file for the full list.

Note that this version also adds an option that scans the user area of the ROM for nested RATs on Full Restore Point creation. This can sometimes help detect corruption caused by third party tools and patches soon after it happens, rather than having it go unnoticed for long periods of time. If you'd rather not get this notification, you can turn it off in the restore options.

By the way, today is the 15th anniversary of the day Lunar Magic was first released! It also happens to be the 40th release of Lunar Magic. Hard to believe it's been so long, but I'm pretty happy with how the program has turned out over that time. Anyway, have fun!




FuSoYa, Defender of Relm  Lunar Compress Version 1.80 Released! February 9, 2015

This release of Lunar Compress adds a new format (LC_LZ19) used in Earthbound, Kirby Super Star, and Kirby's Adventure (NES). It also fixes a crash bug that could sometimes occur with recompression for format LC_LZ12 (Gradius 3) and another one that occured only in the x64 DLL with recompression for format LC_LZ3.
